Welcome to Boss of the Block, your premier destination for luxury cigars. Our journey began with a unique collaboration between Graycliff Cigar Company and renowned musical artist & DJ P La Cangri. Drawing from her deep Cuban heritage and passion for cigars, P La Cangri brings a vibrant and authentic touch to our brand.
My Story
At Boss of the Block, we pride ourselves on the meticulous process behind our cigar blends. Contrary to common assumptions, our cigars are not simply rebranded Graycliff products. P La Cangri personally selected the blend for Boss of the Block cigars through an intensive blind tasting at the prestigious Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant in Nassau. In one sitting, she smoked seven different blends, each numbered to ensure an unbiased choice. These blends were handed to her by Paolo Garzaroli, son of Enrico Garzaroli of Graycliff Bahamas. The blend she chose that day, without knowing the origins of each sample, is what we proudly offer today in four distinct sizes.

This rich blend results in a cigar that offers an intense smoke with notes of dark chocolate, white pepper, and exotic spices, evolving into rich leather and coffee bean flavors.
The story of Boss of the Block is rooted in tradition and innovation. Inspired by her grandmother, a master cigar roller from Holguin, Cuba, P La Cangri's dedication to the art of cigar-making is reflected in every product we offer. Our collaboration with Graycliff, known for their meticulous quality control and rich history, ensures that each cigar meets the highest standards.
Graycliff’s legacy includes the expertise of Avelino Lara, a legendary Cuban cigar maker best known for his work at the El Laguito factory, where he crafted the famous Cohiba cigars. Lara also oversaw the Davidoff of Geneva brand in Cuba and was Fidel Castro’s personal cigar roller. Since Lara's passing, his son Abel Lara has taken on the mantle as the master roller for Graycliff. This mastery in blending tobacco laid the foundation for Graycliff’s reputation for excellence, and Avelino's influence continues to inspire our craftsmanship.
